Permit Specialist with Dependable Vehicle (Opa-Locka)
The Permit Coordinator will report directly to the Operations Manager.
He/She will be the sole owner of all permit procedures and requirements for the office.
Permit Coordinator responsibilities include but are not limited to:

He/she will be the sole owner of all permit requirements for the office.
Responsible for all permit submittals
Responsible for reviewing permit tracking for accuracy and thoroughness.
Manage and monitor local municipal activities and applications as they relate to the acquisition
of permits
Validate that all permits have been obtained and that no additional permits are needed
Verify permitting priority and dates against schedule priorities with Project Manager.
Verify permits are closed-out in a timely manner.
Identify any permitting issues and will impact project accuracy, timeliness, or completeness.
Qualifications:
Thorough and in depth knowledge and expertise of permitting process for city wide construction
projects.
Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
High aptitude for office and productivity software and technology.
Ability to manage processes and analyze information.
Critical thinking and problem solving skills.
Adaptability, initiative and problem solving capability.
Must display professionalism when interacting with employees and customers.
