Low Voltage Project Foreman
The Low Voltage Project Foreman will report directly to the assigned Project Manager. Directly supervises on site personnel, including technicians, helpers, and subcontractors providing on site direction and leadership, coordination and evaluation of their on-site responsibilities. Responsibilities include direct communications with customers, assigning, and directing on-site work for assigned staff; addressing complaints and resolving problems while maintaining project schedule, quality & profitability.
Qualifications: • Experience managing sizable projects (200+ hours) plus three years’ experience working in the communications or similar industry preferred • Must have a valid driver’s license • Must demonstrate planning, organizing, and implementing skills which allow the successful completion of goals for a highly complex organization • Able to read and work from blueprints, drawings, schematics and diagrams • Working knowledge of communications systems including local and wide area networks, voice, video, access control, physical security, CCTV, fire alarm, and wireless systems • Excellent customer service skills to deal with both external and internal customers • Exceptional communication and organizational skills • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work with diverse customer groups to resolve conflicts • Must be able to effectively handle stressful situations well, and to manage multiple tasks simultaneously • Proficiency with personal computers with ability to use Microsoft Products All candidates must be willing to submit to any job related background check, medical exam, and drug screen that may be required during the hiring process.
